Millennium Park Traffic Island

Millenium: After, August 2004

The design of native grasses, goldenrod, coneflowers and asters provides a colorful introduction to the naturalistic plantings which surround the playing fields. The design was commissioned and the plants installed by The Evening Garden Club of West Roxbury. (August 2004)

Millenium: June 2003 This bleak island with its fire-plug focal point constitutes the entrance to Millennium Park, the 90 acre recreation complex on the capped landfill in West Roxbury. June 2003.
